Sleep is back, and your workspace wakes exactly as you left it
A quiet workspace sleeps again after half an hour, keeping everything it had. Workspaces also start faster, size themselves more sensibly, and uploads work again.
New
- A quiet workspace sleeps again after half an hour. Its machine stops and its memory is freed, but everything it had — your checkout, installed packages, and any Docker images and volumes — is still there when it wakes. Send a message or press anything and it wakes in a few seconds; what you sent is delivered once it is up. The panel’s “Set idle” button is now “Sleep”.
Improved
- A new workspace starts at 2 GB instead of asking you to choose first. You can still pick a bigger size.
- Workspaces boot faster — you can start chatting before the network is ready.
Fixed
- Image and video uploads work again.
- Opening your workspace no longer reloads it when a teammate’s new workspace appears.
