Your workspace is your own machine, and it sleeps instead of stopping
A quiet workspace now goes to sleep and wakes exactly as you left it, running programs included. It sizes itself as it works, it runs your own Linux system with your own tools, and Padar updates it without stopping anything.
New
- DesktopAfter half an hour with nothing happening, a workspace sleeps. Send a prompt, open a terminal or start a process and it wakes where it was, with everything that was running still running. Sleep is one button in the workspace panel.
- MobileWorkspaces sleep and wake on the phone too: anything you do in one wakes it first, and the screen says when it is waking.
- DesktopEach workspace runs your project’s own Linux system, with its own services and Docker if you install it. Everything you and the agent run happens inside it.
Improved
- DesktopYou no longer pick a size for a workspace. It grows when it needs more memory and gives it back when it is done, and the panel shows how big it is right now.
- DesktopYour sign-ins stay out of the workspace. The agent and git reach your accounts without the workspace ever holding the keys.
- DesktopUpdates no longer interrupt you. Open terminals and running programs carry on through an update, and a terminal that drops reconnects on its own.
- DesktopThe environment panel is gone. Freezing a workspace is one click, and mistakes in your project’s actions file show up in the panel’s problems.
